The boil mode is a high power output function for bringing water rapidly to the boil. This function is programmed to heat 1.5 litre of water in a 20cm pan to boiling point in a fixed time of approximately 10 minutes, after which the “beep” will sound 3 times and the hob will switch off.
Please note: • Performance may vary between induction cookware of different size and manufacture. • Smaller quantities of liquid will take less time to reach boiling point (i.e. before the “beep” sounds and the hob switches off) and may boil dry if left unattended, thereby damaging the pan. • Regardless of the quantity of liquid being heated, never leave the appliance unattended when in use.
The heat milk mode is a low power output function for heating milk gently to 85 °C in order to preserve the nutritional qualities. This function is programmed to gently heat half a litre of milk from 8 °C to around 85 °C in a fixed time of approximately 10 minutes, after which the “beep” will sound 3 times and the hob will switch off.
Please note: • Performance may vary between induction cookware of different size and manufacture. • Smaller quantities of milk will take less time to reach 85 °C (i.e. before the “beep” sounds and the hob switches off) and may boil over if left unattended. • Regardless of the quantity of milk being heated, never leave the appliance unattended when in use.
After following the instructions in the user manual for starting the appliance, make sure that your electrical socket is working by plugging another appliance. If it still does not work, do not try to dismantle or repair the appliance yourself, instead, take it to an approved repair centre
