With its easy-to-read backlit display and smart features, Optiss is the perfect electronic kitchen scale for all your baking needs. Its generous capacity of 5 kg offers precision readings down to the nearest 0.5 g, while its convenient tare function lets you do all your weighing in the same container—simply reset the scale with each new ingredient. Conversions are a breeze as well, be it between dry and liquid or imperial and metric units. All this, in a slim frame that's easy to store away.
To set the tare, first of all: • switch on the scale • put your container on the tray (the container may overlap the tray) • press 'ON/OFF' and wait for the display to show zero. The weight of the container is automatically deducted.
Wipe the scale with a slightly damp cloth and dry it completely. Do not immerse the appliance in water. Do not use abrasive products. For the bowl and the lid provided with certain models: • Do not heat or use in the microwave, • Washing by hand is recommended to guarantee prolonged use.
After following the instructions in the user manual for starting the appliance, make sure that your electrical socket is working by plugging another appliance. If it still does not work, do not try to dismantle or repair the appliance yourself, instead, take it to an approved repair centre
Appliances such as microwave ovens or mobile phones used near the scale may cause disruption to the weight display. Do not leave the scale near a heat source. Do not put hot containers on the scale.
